Specific duties include:

• Supervise Radio Camp for youth aged 10-13.
• Responsible for three sessions of week long summer camps (three weeks plus training days in total).
• Contribute to a positive, safe and enriching camp experience.
• Serve as a role model for camp participants.
• Monitor participants work and effectiveness of camp activities.

The following qualifications are an asset:

• Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills.
• Experience with youth at risk and EAL.
• Background or interest in the field of education, arts or social work.
• Knowledge of 95.9 FM CKUW’s history and mandate.
• A friendly outgoing personality.

30 hours per week, July 29 – Aug 2, Aug 12-16, Aug 19-23 (Plus 2-3 days of training).
$12.50 per hour.

We’re happy to announce that Mat Klachefsky has been selected as Radio Camp Director for 2013.

Mat has worked as a Radio Camp counselor for the last three years and his experience, skill and awesome camp mojo will make this years Radio Camp very exciting.

Mat is also known as the lead dude in Winnipeg band ‘Boats‘.

We are excited to announce that Radio camp 2013 planning has begun. We still have to set our dates but we are currently looking at July.
